I was buying a CD ROM from Fry's one weekend and noticed that all of the CD ROM's advertized with a $20 rebate had already passed their expiration date.

I was looking at the huge stack of CD ROM's on display, and watching the people take them. The sign on the display was advertizing a $20 rebate.

I pulled a worker aside and told him that if you read the fine print on the box of the product, you will see that the rebate has expired.

He just said sorry, we will see what we can do and walked off.

The people continued to buy the advertized product. Wonder how the returns went.
